Xindhi, in Albanian folklore are elf-like creatures; “xindhi” are male, while the “xindha” are female.
A creaking door or a flickering flame serve as the signals for their approach. Sometimes the xindhi are friendly and helpful; generally, though, they are cruel to people.
Distinguishing features - Slightly pointed ears.

Eyes - Completely black.
Xindhi are forest dwelling elves, they do not like human contact and would much rather live out their immortality safe in the embrace of nature.

There is not a single Xindhi who is not in some way skilled in music, and those who are descended from the ancients who left the forests (call the hidden ones) often find a sense of peace only when they are playing.

While Xindhi do not have powers in the traditional sense they do have abilities - some can speak to animals, some can see the future in snippets and others are empaths - each ability is different, no two Xindhi have the same gift.
